How wonderful that you and your family have been able to have time together and enjoy the magnificent scenery in one of the most beautiful parts of our country! The photos are beautiful! and will provide great memories for years to come. Thank you for sharing.
We feel very fortunate, indeed. And in retrospect, my son's plan was sheer genius. Between my son, daughter-in-law and me we have probably taken several hundred pictures--it will be hard to select the best.
And yes, so do I. For those of us fortunate to have it, we may be required to call upon our reserve of family strength and resources to forge a future that ensures the sanctity of truth, integrity and justice for all.
So comforting to see you and your beautiful family in those amazing pictures . Bringing back a sense of normality and decency lacking in our current political landscape . Thanks Joy……
Joy - Zion and Bryce are favorite places for our family! We used to have a house in Springdale, the town just at the entrance to Zion - so we are very familiar with the beauty of this area. My son and I still make the trip yearly in the early Spring (to avoid the crowds). So enjoyed your photos and am happy that your family got to see these really fabulous National Parks!
Really beautiful territory. I was trying to remember the last time we were there, and it escapes me, but we did visit and hike and enjoy the beauty and yes, we visited in the winter and skied. Thank you for helping me relive those wonderful days. I know I mentioned it before but for anyone reading my post our son went to the University of Utah and after graduation lived there for several years and was a newspaper writer, so we really got excellent advice on what to do and see. I know you are loving being with family in the midst of all the beauty.
Joy, what beautiful, beautiful photos! Great to see you with the Ethan and Lara and family in the glorious Red Rock country, such a great part of the world. And kudos to YOU for the hiking feats. Wow!
Wow! Thanks for sharing your joyful energy! It’s a wonderful way to shift out of despair, a superb reminder for all of us!
Hi Judith! Are the same person I knew long ago in Berkeley? If so, nice to see you again.
Thank you, Joy. So very beautiful!
A much needed respite.

This IS what life is about. I wish it were possible for EVERY ONE.

It IS a comfort. And a privilege, I'm well aware...
Fabulous pictures. I am really impressed that you could do that hiking. I'm glad I can enjoy it through your pictures. I wish I had done that onetime.
Quite honestly I impressed myself. I haven't seen anyone on these trails the entire trip that looks a day over 70.
Thank you for sharing JOY 😊
We’re in this together!

The guy at the front desk here arrived 30 years ago and hasn’t looked back. I can understand why your son would stick around.
I'm proud of you too! What a fabulous time together ❤️
Indeed. I feel so fortunate to be able to recover in this gentle way.
