I sure am. Gallivanting is over for awhile. I’m knuckling down to writing at last. Feel like I’m finally on the right track!! Enjoy your time with Laura.
What a fantastic post on London! I'm going to have to check out those tiles! John Diane museum is one of my husband's favourites. Interesting to hear that you think London is doing well. I think it is doing OK but not the UK overall since Brexit. London is a lovely city but we have a battle with developers trying to destroy it. Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Evidently a lot of improvement projects that had been on the books but on hold during the pandemic are now underway. So the Brexit effects may not be showing up in London yet.
I love all your posts, Joy. I often think to respond with thoughts, but…..
last winter I was in Annecy with my daughter who lives about an inch (on the map) away in Geneva. Spent my birthday there; it hardly mattered that it was raining hard. I long to go to England as I want to see the state Modern.
Geneva IS kind of a stone’s throw from here, but a different world—and much more expensive. Visited the UN last time I was there, which was fascinating. Have you been?
On my bucket list!Looks like you're having fun! and exercise!!

Love Mr. Bean. Enjoy your travels!
Hasn’t dine at the « train bleu « for forty years but it’s on my list during next trip to Paris…..😊
Can’t speak for the food because we didn’t eat, but the vibe was delicious.
